Bo's Place offers grief support services to the greater Houston area, including an information and referral line staffed by mental health professionals who assist individuals who have experienced death and family, friends, co-workers, or other concerned individuals who seek guidance as to how to support the bereaved; online and in-person support groups for children and their parents/guardians, adults, and students in K-12 schools; community outreach, and education and training. See Schedule O for program accomplishment details.During the 2022-2023 fiscal year, Bo's Place clinicians provided support, resources, and referrals to 4,101 individuals seeking help or resources through the information and referral line. Bo's Place enrolled 1,452 individuals in online and in-person grief support groups (611 children and 841 adults) who collectively attended 8,961 service sessions. Bo's Place clinicians and staff provided 24 community education and training workshops throughout the greater Houston area to various audiences, including professionals in the social service, medical, educational, and faith-based communities (reaching 1,239 individuals).Bo's Place offers programs in English and Spanish at no cost to the bereaved.
