Emergency shelter - provides shelter, food, clothing, medical and mental health attention, educational assistance, and transportation for youth from birth through 17 years of age who are abused, neglected, abandoned, or runaway. 61 children served, 3,228 nights of care.
Childrens advocacy center provides comprehensive services for children and their families who are alleged victims of sexual and/or severe physical abuse in a multi-disciplinary approach to investigation. Services provided include forensic interviews, therapy and assessments, parent education, family advocacy, and case coordination. The multi-disciplinary team includes law enforcement, child protective services, prosecution, medical, and mental health providers who work jointly on these child abuse cases. Over 470 children served; held 363 forensic interviews in san juan and mckinley counties; provided 1,145 therapy and assessment sessions.
Foster care - provides for the care of children who have been removed from their home for an extended period of time and ensures their safety and well-being. Treatment foster care offers family based treatment for children with severe emotional and/or behavioral disorders that require a higher level of care. 25 children served; 115 nights of regular foster care; 4,176 nights of treatment foster care.
Casa (court appointed special advocates) program uses trained community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused, neglected, and abandoned children involved in the court system. 52 volunteers served 134 children. Expenses 256,244 revenue: 200,762
