Program areas at CNS
Targeted case management - provide an integrated approach to assist persons in designing and implementing mental health services and supports that are goal oriented and individualized.
Comsumer supports - based upon financial need and in accordance with an overall plan of service, provides support monies to address one-time or occasional needs in the area of housing, pharmacy, transportation, employment and community integration activities.
Clubhouses and drop-in centers - provides directly and through subcontractors, locations where individuals can actively participate in programs designed to promote acceptance, enhanced socialization and personal and pre-vocational skill development.
Residential, providing emergency shelter, clinical support, daily needs, and various support services to assist individuals in a residential setting with activities of daily living and progress toward the goal of becoming more self-sufficient. Grants-cns was awarded a four year grant with the goal to improve the physical health status of people suffering mental illness and addiction as well as a 5 year grant related to suicide prevention and education. The substance abuse and mental health services administration, a division of the department of health and human services of the federal government developed this program to provide support to communities in order to coordinate and integrate primary care services into publicly funded, community based behavioral health settings.
