Tribal Operations: This program coordinates various services with community partners. During FY21 this largely involved a partnership with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) to deploy Treasury funds through direct support to shareholders, COVID-19 related emergency services for participants, as well as developing and maintaining safe environments for both employees and participants.
Recovery services: citc (Cook Inlet Tribal Council) recovery services provide comprehensive treatment to assist individuals within all stages of recovery from substance abuse or addiction. Services include assessments, detoxification services, individual and group counseling, and help in accessing and increasing support to maintain sobriety. Provides medical and social detox, residential and outpatient services to those with substance abuse problems. Serves approximately 1,000 patients per year and provides continuing care and follow up for participants.
Employment and training: employment training and services assist participants in achieving self-sufficiency by helping them find meaningful and sustainable employment as they progress through lifestyle changes and enhance their communication, life management, vocational and academic skills. Citc administers Tribal tanf funding, providing direct benefits, supportive services, childcare and training to help participants off the tanf rolls. Citc offers ged classes, job training, supported work, childcare, scholarships and job placement services for youth and adults; and provides Tribal vocational rehabilitation which puts disabled participants back into the workforce.
