Exodus house Oklahoma city, exodus house tulsa and the parsonage house tulsa are a key part of Criminal Justice and Mercy Ministries of Oklahoma, Inc. The mission is to offer opportunities for ex-offenders to have a healthy, nurturing, and accountable environment where they may begin their life again. After acceptance into the residential program and upon release from prison, residents move into a one or two bedroom apartment, fully furnished and decorated. Residents are responsible for paying utilities. Rent is not charged but monies are collected each month and deposited into a savings account and returned to them upon leaving or graduating from the program. The average length of stay is 6 months. The current recidivism rate is 3.1% over the past 6 years.
New day camp (one and two) is a five-day camping experience for children ages 8-14 who have at least one incarcerated parent. These children are the forgotten victims of crime. All campers are provided scholarships by donors and transportation to and from the camp located on the beautiful shores of lake texoma at cross point camp. New day camp three is a weekend retreat for youth ages 15-18 who have aged out of the traditional camp. Locations and activities vary for this event. Some of the youth are also lits (leaders in training) at camp one and eventually adult leaders at camp one and two.
Redemption missions is located in Oklahoma city and lawton are a fellowship of prisoners, ex-prisoners, their families, and friends of faith. The mission of the redemption missions is to cultivate and empower peer leaders who can reach out and help others with similar life experiences through fellowship, classes and worship twice weekly.
