Fort Madison Community Hospital is a general, medical, and surgical Hospital located in Fort Madison, Iowa, to meet the heatlh care needs of its communities as well as provide programs and services aimed at health, safety, education, prevention, and overall health and wellness. In doing so, they strengthen their role as a partner in hte Community by improving the health of area citizens and the quality of life in the communities they serve Fort Madison Community Hospital (fmch) is committed to providing health care services to area residents. Fmch services the residents of southeast Iowa and west central Illinois. The 50-bed Hospital had 1082 patient admissions and 2,943 patient days of medical care. Health services and care provided by fmch include physicians and surgeons practicing in the following areas: family practice, internal medicine, obstetrics & gynecology, orthopedics & sports medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry, surgery and urology, and birthplace services. In addition, fmch has specialty clinics in the following areas: cardiology, dermatology, otolaryngology, gastroenterology and neurology, emergency department services, home health care, hospice, rehabilitation/therapy services, laboratory and pathology services, and wound healing care.
