Milpitas Christian School's elementary program equips children in transitional kindergarten/kindergarten through 5th grade. Children, created in the image of god, deserve a complete education for their mind (mental), heart (emotional), soul (spiritual) and body (physical). In the early grades, the emphasis is on a developmental approach to learning. We assist students to become good citizens. Our music, drama, art and physical skill developments help children appreciate beauty in god's creation. By learning to express their creative impulses in pleasing ways, students develop healthy habits and a sense of Christian fellowship and sportsmanship.by integrating technology and robotics into elementary education, children develop an exceptional academic foundation at the earliest years. Our meritorious outdoor education, choral/instrumental music programs and academic competitions are inspirational highlights. Mcs students perform very well on standardized achievement tests, like terranova 3 (complete battery). For 2018, grade 4-8 students exceeded the 85th percentile of national School norms published by national blue ribbon School.
Consistently voted the "best preschool," Milpitas Christian preschool offers a safe and nurturing Christian environment for 2- to 4-year olds. Conveniently located in central Milpitas, our preschool campus is easily accessible from major roads (montague/landess) and freeways (interstates 680 and 880). The half-day/full-day programs plus choice of partial/full-week schedules offers maximum flexibility for busy parents. Full time students also enjoy a healthy lunch each day.our preschool campus features expansive outdoor play areas beneath soaring redwood trees. The well-equipped classrooms include convenient bathrooms facilities. Each developmentally age-appropriate program is comprehensive. Teachers and staff are committed to providing a loving, Christian environment for each child to grow spiritually, socially, physically, emotionally and intellectually. As a licensed child care center provider (facility #xxx-xx-xxxx), our preschool meets the strictest staffing, facility, and safety regulations by the California department of social services. We believe that each child is a unique creation of god and we are glad to support you in god's command to "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." - proverbs 22:6
Milpitas Christian School's middle School program encourages 6th through 8th grade students to become creative and complex thinkers with depth and complexity. As spiritually dynamic and academically prepared individuals, they are ready to interact meaningfully with each other and our society. By providing a framework to instill higher-order thinking skills (analyzing, evaluating, synthesizing information), students go far beyond remembering facts and understanding context. Our curriculum helps students to reach a position and support their belief based upon their critical decision-making skills. Extracurricular programs include competitive athletics, robotics and the arts (yearbook, drama, bands, and choirs). Outdoor education expands their understanding with a focus on earth science (6th grade), life science plus community service (7th grade) and leadership (8th grade). We endeavor to inspire a love of learning that will take them far beyond their formal schooling years and into a lifetime of challenges and growth. Graduating eighth graders have a smooth transition into elite private high schools and rigorous public high schools.
