The New Jersey Ymca State Alliance's programs revolve around their mission to collaborate and work with the various Ymca's in the greater New jerey area in order to strengthen and enhance the individual Ymca's as well as the collective strength of all the nj Ymca's to better serve the people of New Jersey.
The New Jersey partnerhsip for healthy kids initiative provides technical assistance and direction for childhood obesity prevention activities focusing on environmental and policy change in trenton, camden, newark, vineland and New brunswick.
New Jersey snap-ed, a part of the supplemental nutrition assistance program (snap), is a nutrition and physical activity program aimed at teaching nj residents how to make healthy food choices and get active. The New Jersey Ymca State Alliance, Inc. conducts program training with snap-educators to provide support for children's overall mental and physical health.
