Program areas at PCA
Long-term Care Services - Philadelphia Corporation of Aging performed over 25,000 assessments in FY2021. The assessments are performed on individuals that are in need of care within their private homes. As part of their long-term care services, PCA also provided Service Coordination Services. These services include home delivered meals approximately 2 million, personal care, home health care, nursing care, therapy physical, speech, and occupational, and modifications to homes.
Access Services - Philadelphia Corporation for Aging provides one-way transportation for older citizens to medical appointments, shopping centers, adult day care service locations, and the various senior citizen centers throughout the city.
Community Services - Philadelphia Corporation of Aging coordinates and funds various programs focused on providing assistance to senior citizens throughout the City of Philadelphia. The primary program is the various senior citizen centers located throughout the city. Other services include health screening, community socialization, and educational programs to more than 30,000 citizens. PCA also provides services related to legal, employment, and volunteer assitance programs.
