Program areas at Tennesseans for Quality Early Education
Tqee has a robust lobbying program. It includes staff and contract personnel who develop policy proposals and lobby state policymakers on behalf of legislation in support of young children and their families. It also includes advocacy campaigns that encourage tqee coalition members to communicate their support of certain legislation to their state policymakers.
Tqee conducts Education, awareness activities and coalition building which are supported by staff, office space, various supplies and equipment, and travel expenditures. Additionally, tqee deploys a small portion of tqee personnel to support and oversee strategy for tqee contributions to Tennessee advocates for Early learning.
Tqee contributed to a political action committee, Tennessee advocates for Early learning.
