Amplified, a platform built to highlight black voices in The game has been expanded to effectuate player advocacy and awareness building on pertinent issues impacting black participation, navigation and access within baseball and softball.equip The future & focus city and regranting provides an opportunity for current and retired Players to mentor young athletes and donate much needed equipment to struggling programs. To kick things off, we supported 100 middle school and high school baseball and softball Players from inglewood, ca. The students received invaluable advice from current and retired Players on The keys to success in The game and life.players Alliance's gear for good program is a national player-led donation drive of vital equipment and uniforms often missing from teams in underserved rural and urban areas. The program partners with all 30 mlb to collect gear that will be distributed to communities across The country.
All stars "game changers celebration," seeking to honor black playmakers in The game and in The community while raising awareness for The organization's mission. Eight-time all-star darryl strawberry, two-time all-star eric davis, two-time softball olympic medalist natasha watley and dodgers superstar mookie betts made up The group's first four honorees.
Tpa funded equity projects across The country fueled by jackie robinson day giving from current Players across mlb. Tpa launched The solutions summit a roundtable featuring groups with needs with those with means. The focus was hbcu baseball. Tpa gathered stakeholders in The bahamas in support of dbhrd, a showcase for major and minor league Players in The off season.
