Environmental policy advancement-promote policies to protect public health and the Environment for Long islanders. Public health and toxic chemical contamination-stop large quantities of sewage sludge from being disposed of at the brookhaven town landfill. the odors from the sludge degraded the quality of life and threatened public health in the community.
