Empower's cumulative work has led to promising early results, been shown to be repeatable, and has the potential to grow virally allowing a next phase of large-scale education improvement for disadvantaged students in america. During fy22, Empower Schools continued to support empowerment zones and similar structures across Massachusetts, Colorado, Texas, Indiana, and Louisiana. We also partnered with communities across the country to explore potential partnerships and collaboratively design zones. Additionally, in fy22, we continued to expand our work in early college and career and rural collaboratives, launching relevant projects in California, Colorado, and Texas. Our work in Louisiana has grown considerably as we were matched with multiple districts through the ldoe's reimagine school systems program. We have continued our commitment to work with local communities and Empower educators with the goal of serving students better. We are especially committed to ensuring that each of our projects shares the core design features of: transformative, systemic, accountable, equity-focused, sustainable, replicable, local, and structural. We have continued to invest deeply in Texas, Colorado, Indiana, Louisiana and California as well as strengthen our opportunities in other states. We currently have 23 team members across our organization, based in eight states: ma, tx, co, ca, in, la, md, and tn.
