Program areas at FLOC

n the 2012-2022 program year, floc served 253 unduplicated students across our programs (i.e. one student enrolled in both math and reading tutoring would be considered one student although they participated in two programs). We are pleased to have awarded $51,519 in scholarships to FLOC's post-secondary students. 89% of FLOC students maintained or improved their grade-level during the Summer Academy. In January 2022, six FLOC students became published authors when their stories were released as the book We Matter: Six Students and Their Protest. The book sold out online within hours of its release. And our student authors even had the chance to autograph copies for their readers!
