Program areas at International Association of Chiefs of Police
Federal grantsthe iacp works collaboratively with several federal agencies on issues and topics that are important to the law enforcement profession and its stakeholders. The federal agencies that the iacp works with include the u.s. department of justice, the u.s. department of transportation, and the u.s. department of state. The iacp worked on more than 30 federal grants in fiscal year 2022 and produced important resources for the field and conducted trainings for law enforcement personnel.
Information services includes the following:policy center - for over 30 years, the iacp law enforcement policy center has been identifying leading practices and providing sound guidance to the law enforcement profession to assist in developing policies for individual departments.legislative - by serving as the professional voice of law enforcement, iacp works to ensure that community stakeholders, legislators, and other groups understand issues related to law enforcement and public safety and that members and others in the field are able to learn from global best practices.pc magazine - the Police chief is the official publication of the International Association of Chiefs of police.iacpnet - iacp net provides a premier online information network for leaders. Iacp net develops and manages a secure platform of intuitive online resources, tools, and e-libraries so law enforcement leaders can make informed, data-driven decisions.
The iacp annual conferences in fiscal year 2022 include the following events:- officer safety and wellness symposium (in-person/virtual), march 2022- technology conference, may 2022
