It engages thousands of community members annually in events that enhance the health and beauty of our local environment and offers service opportunities for volunteers to assist with programs such as cleanup, plantings (trees, gardens, landscapes, and shoreline restorations), mulching and weeding, and painting park tables and shelters.

Program areas at Keep Pinellas Beautiful

Keep Pinellas Beautiful engages thousands of community members per year in events that improve the health and beauty of our local environment. Kpb provides opportunities of service for volunteers to assist with our efforts. The programs include: cleanup projects, adopt a mile program and pick up pinellas.cleanup projects include large group litter abatement initiatives on public lands (local beaches, parks or roadways). Adopt a mile programs include public areas within the county where small groups make a commitment to cleanup that same area between 4 and 6 times per year. Pick up Pinellas are volunteers that pick up litter within certain area cleanups.
Keep Pinellas Beautiful offers service opportunities to replenish, restore and beautify public areas. The programs include: plantings, (trees, gardens, landscapes and shoreline restorations), mulching and weeding, painting (park tables and shelters)
Keep Pinellas Beautiful provides the community with environmental education programs such as presentations, (live or virtual), experiential learning experiences in the field and provides resources through our website, social media and blogs.
