Program areas at Kitten Rescue
Los angeles based organization devoted to saving cats and kittens from euthanasia, abandonment, cruelty, & neglect. Volunteers Rescue, rehabilitate, & adopt out homeless animals into permanent homes. Cats/dogs in foster care awaiting adoption receive veterinary care.
Adoption center - Kitten Rescue's adoption center was created in 2018 to enhance nursery and foster Kitten adoptions. It increases lifesaving capacity in addition to foster homes, which are also thriving. Covid slowed down this program at the sanctuary.
Nursery - Kitten Rescue's nursery saves kittens as young as 8 weeks old from euthanasia at the shelter. Community cat program - we also Rescue feral and untamed cats from the shelter and place them in appropriate lifelong situations. Many become working cats and lead fulfilling lives in natural but safe surroundings.
