Upstander Project - The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center's Cincinnati Upstander Project is informaed by a positive psychology framework developed by the VIA Institute on Character, which identifies 24 character strengths we all possess in different degrees, giving each of us a unique character profile. Each of us can use our character strengths to become an upstander and make positive change. We are the only musuem in the world to use the VIA Character Strengths as a lens to understand and inspire upstander behavior. The cincinnati Upstander Project leverages dynamic public art initiatives, high-visibility media partnerships, digital storytelling, and engaging events to spotlight and encourage upstander behavior.
Holocaust Awareness Programs - Offers opportunities for the public to engage in a wide array of public programs connected to our mission. Each year, Holocaust & Humanity Center host dozens of engaging lectures, performances, films and more for diverse audiences.
Museum - Through local eyewitness accounts, interactive experiences, artifacts and art, the Holocaust & Humanity Museum bears witness to the strength and courage of the human spirit set against the backdrop of one of the darkest chapters in human history. After experiencing the moving narratives in the Holocaust Gallery, visitors enter the Humanity Gallery where they explore how to become the best of humanity today by activating their strengths to be upstanders. The museum offers educational tours and experiences for students and learners of all ages.
Holocaust & Humanity Center offers a wide array of programs connected to our mission including a robust archival and collections initiative, early childhood programs and humanity programming.
