The Hermitage No Kill Cat Shelter advocates for cat welfare by serving as a model cage-free sanctuary and no-kill shelter. In 2021, the organization worked with their Staff Vet to relocate all FIV+ cats from their own ward into the general population ward to help reduce stigma around adopting them. They have also vaccinated over 80% of their shelter felines who have tested negative for FeLV and continue to vaccinate all new intakes. The shelter is located in Tucson, AZ.

Partnership- we have signed an moq with The university of Arizona college of veterinary medicine for internships and off site vet services.
In 2022 we improved our quality of Cat care with The addition of new medical equipment and progressing treatment protocols. This not only improved The overall health of The cats in The Shelter but also minimized our need to utilize outside vet services.
Felv vaccinations for all Shelter felines who have tested felv negative. We have vaccinated over 80% of The Shelter and contnue to vaccinate all new intakes.
