Civic engagement: Voto Latino Foundation organizes year-round to energize young Latino people, amplify their voices, and wield their power at the ballot box and beyond. Although Voto Latino Foundation is a digital-first organization, it also produces year-round programming to increase civic education and engagement in the Latino community.through voter education and registration, and get out the vote efforts, the Foundation encourages its audience of young latinos to make their voices heard in the political process.
Leadership development: through leadership programs such as the power summit conference, Voto Latino Foundation connects young latinos with thought leaders, elected officials, and industry experts to network and provide the tools they need to become changemakers in their communities. In 2022, the conference included leadership topics such as understanding finances, climate change, gun violence prevention, and disability justice.
Events: Voto Latino Foundation held a series of events throughout the year, scheduled strategically to build momentum and start a national dialogue about important issues in congruence with vlf's digital outreach to educate and motivate young Latino voters to be civically engaged. These events included the annual power summit, our voices, and summer of action.
Vlf impact council: in 2021, Voto Latino Foundation launched the vlf impact council, a national group with the objective of harnessing the power of major brands, celebrities, politicians, and influencers with hundreds of millions of social media followers across industries and sectors to educate, engage, and empower the Latino community. The impact council is composed of 267 partners who actively participated in amplifying and extending the Foundation's reach. The impact council centered around four key activations: rise above hate, Latino heritage month, national voter registration day, and #pledgetovote.
