Medical Imaging technology showcase - The Academy's annual medical Imaging technology showcase brings together The diverse group of stakeholders included in The Academy's membership. We meet in-person in Washington, dc to promote advocacy for Imaging Research with The ultimate goal of being effective representation of Imaging within The nih's budget. This event was held in-person from may 14-16 and included networking events at our event hotel, aa half day academic Research roundtable, and a showcase of scientific Research on capitol hill in The rayburn gold room.
Legislative affairs & lobbying - The Academy's professional government relations consultants worked to build support for Radiology and Imaging in congress and The executive branch and to advise The federal government on Imaging Research priorities, focusing mainly on advocating for The nih.
