The Magic City Classic is an annual football game between Alabama State University and Alabama A&M University played at Legion Field in Birmingham, AL. The revenue is comprised of sponsorships, grants and ticket sales. The expenses are comprised mainly of the distribution to the schools of $1,648,398, as well as staff, operational, marketing, and ambassador entertainment fees.
The Birmingham Hammerfest is a cycling race for cycling teams from all over the US that race through the streets of Pepper Place in downtown Birmingham, AL.
The SEC Baseball Tournament is a partially double-elimination tournament based on conference record held each year at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, AL. Twelve of the fourteen SEC teams qualify for this annual tournament. The revenue consists mainly of ticket sales, along with grants. The expenses are comprised mainly of the guaranteed payment made to the SEC of $725,000, as well as staff, operational and marketing costs.
