Alzheimer's Association - California Central Chapter

To support patients, family & friends on Alzheimer's Disease and other Related disorders in santa barbara, ventura, san luis obispo and kern counties, California. To support education of the public and health care professionals as to the nature and effects of these diseases and to promote research at the national and local levels.the organization provided respite care to over 37 families, conducted caregiver training and general education training programs that were attended by nearly 5,839 contacts. In addition, the organization held support groups for those coping with alzheimers, either directly or indirectly, which were attended by over 2,050 contacts during the year.
