Program areas at ASCP
Member services: This program consists of activities to promote and improve pharmacy practice in health care institutions, long-term facilities, assisted living, home and community settings and other senior care settings as a service to ASCP's members. This program also includes production of publications which pertain to consultant pharmacy that are published as a service to members and nonmembers of the Society.
Advocacy: This program consists of governmental relations activities that focus on increasing medication accessibility making medications more affordable and educating lawmakers on the critical management services that ASCP's members provide.
Meetings and Conferences: This program consists of meetings and conferences held for the education and professional development of members.
Research and Education projects: This program consists of activities such as developing new educational programs, promoting the value of senior care and consultant pharmacy services and enabling continued innovation.
