Anasazi Foundation engages in providing behavioral treatment programs, psychological counseling and related services in a unique treatment environment for families in crisis throughout the u.s. who may have experienced treatment failure in other types of programs. The program offers a unique approach in dealing with children and their parents to break through the conflicts that have caused trouble in their lives. The treatment program combines a wilderness environment and services of professionals in a unique outdoor survival experience. The program uses trained professionals in psychiatry, psychology, family sciences, nursing and social work for the assessment, treatment and education of emotionally disturbed, defiant, and chemical-dependent adolescents. Treatment is supervised by a psychiatrist and a staff nurse.
