Program areas at Association of University Research Parks
Annual conference: this program is a general conference, a gathering of members and those associated with Research Parks. Attendance includes 250+ individuals participating in general plenary, and concurrent sessions. There are inactive sponsor portals in this weeklong (5 day) conference. This program normally rotates primarily through the united states and is hosted by a Research park member selected by the aurp board of directors.
Insight into Research Parks (i2rp):this program is designed for those interested in viewing these distinctive Parks, learning their unique story of ongoing development and programs in addition to challenges and opportunities. Whether you are new to Research Parks or representing your own established Research park and community, each i2rp gathering will provide an exclusive learning environment and knowledge exchange. Each 1 1/2 day program will be unique to their region, involving their team, University and community leaders to learn history, best practices and overall ecosystem. Not to replace the communities of innovation 101 (rp101) programming held at the annual international conference, i2rp should be considered a companion program, showcasing each one-of-a-kind University Research park. Attendance includes approximately 20-30 individuals.
Spring training: thought provoking, knowledge-based discussion is on tap throughout six sessions as executives learn new strategies and tactics to improve their organization. Attendance includes approximately 75 people.
