Program areas at BAM
Exhibitions - the Museum presents a range of Art exhibitions annually, addressing a wide spectrum of artists, artistic media, time periods and styles, all of which reflect diversity and excellence in the visual arts.
Art collection - Boise Art Museum is the only nationally accredited collecting Art Museum in Idaho that actively collects and conserves visual Art. The Museum has a growing collection of more than 4,250 Art objects comprised of modern and contemporary american Art including artists from Idaho and the northwest, as well as asian and african Art.
Education - the Museum's education programs provide visitors with opportunities to have meaningful experiences with original works of Art. Lectures, tours, classes, camps, outreach, catalogues, interpretive text panels, audio tours, handouts, in-gallery materials, videos and teacher education enhance exhibitions and meet the learning needs of people of all ages and abilities.
