Boston Summer Jobs Program - Provided student wages for internships and stipends for other career development activities. Engaged community-based organizations to supervise students paid through the program. Provided work readiness training and career exploration for students employed through the program and remained available to students and supervisors program worksites throughout the summer to address any issues that surfaced.
Boston Public Schools - Collaborative Program - Provided work readiness training and career exploration for thousands of Boston public high school students; engaged employers in partnership with Boston high schools; and provided re-engagement services for students who have dropped out of school or stopped attending regularly. Provided student wages for internships and stipends for other career development activities. Collaborated with the Boston Public Schools on graduate studies and follow-up surveys.
Connecting Activities Program - Engaged employers in partnership with Boston high schools to offer jobs internships and career exploration activities for high school students. Provided work readiness training and career exploration for thousands of Boston public high school students. Maintained and continuously updated a state-required database.
