Program areas at Butler Community College Foundation

The Foundation continues to capitalize on the success of the forever Butler campaign by educating donors about planned giving and securing such gifts that ensure the health and longevity of the Butler Foundation and the support it gives to the College. Provisions to athletics, student emergency loans, diversity training, and non-scholarship support to academic areas of the College is possible because of the increased number of planned and current gifts that establish endowed funds.
The Foundation incurred other indirect program expenses associated with directing the foundations mission of providing scholarship opportunities to Butler Community College students and funding special projects and programs for Butler Community College.
The Butler Community College Foundation provided scholarships to over 888 students. Nearly 39% of Butler students are first generation College students and report they struggle to balance work, family and school. Forty-two percent earn less than $10,000 annually and sixty- three percent earn less than $20,000. Scholarship support is critical to students ability to attend College and provide a brighter future for themselves and their families.
