Program areas at CFFA
The California Fresh Fruit Association is the only agricultural trade Association in California that represents the table grape and Fresh deciduous tree Fruit industries. Serving as a watchdog for these industries, the Association has been monitoring and actively participating in legislative, regulatory and public policy matters for 65 years. The Association's voluntary membership is comprised of approximately 350 growers, shippers and associated groups from throughout California. A diverse number of perishable crops are represented within the membership - peaches, apples, apricots, plums, cherries, pears, figs, table grapes, nectarines, kiwifruit, quince and persimmons.
Today's organization, based in fresno, California, addresses many diverse issues that affect California agriculture, including such matters as environmental resources, farm labor, marketing, packaging, pesticides, standardization, taxation, trade, and transportation.
