Program areas at Captive Hearts
Captive Hearts is a christ-centered 12 step ministry that provides a safe, structured living environment for women as they break free from compulsive/destructive behaviors caused by trauma, various addictions, human trafficking, and domestic violence. We provide spiritual mentoring, life skills, and individualized care to promote healthy living at home and in their community. Through the transforming power of jesus christ and unconditional love, we help restore lives and families.
Educational center and jail services: a Captive Hearts representative routinely goes into the local correctional facility and provides guidance, support, pastoral counseling and mentorship to those incarcerated. This includes providing bibles, reading material and starting the application process for those wanting to be accepted into the Captive Hearts recovery program.
Second chances: thrift shop operated by Captive Hearts. Proceeds go toward funding the recovery homes for those seeking rehabilitation and the jail services described below.
