Program areas at Carbon Cycle Institute

The Carbon Cycle Institute (CCI) made significant strides towards advancing its goals and objectives for the year. CCI convened carbon farming workshops attended by on-farm conservation practitioners and engaged in a 3 part module training for carbon farm planners in partnership with Colorado State University. As a central component of our capacity strategy, CCI facilitated the development of seven regional Carbon Farming Hubs to serve as the central delivery mechanism for carbon farming planning, and implementation in California. Lastly, CCI worked with the counties of Marin and San Mateo to develop agricultural chapters for their climate action plans.
