Program areas at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St Cloud
Catholic Charities Community Services includes Emergency Services, Senior Dining and the Central Minnesota Foster Grandparent Program. 1,737,320 pounds of food were distributed to 11,443 individuals in Central Minnesota. 4,867 individuals received basic everyday essentials and 4,967 individuals received assistance in the form of gas vouchers, bus passes, prescription and medical co-pays, and more. 452,199 meals were served to seniors across 19 congregate dining locations and via home-delivered and frozen meals. 7,557 children received mentoring and support from 168 Foster Grandparents across 83 sites.
Catholic Charities Supportive Living Services provides housing solutions for persons living with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and serious and persistent mental illness, as well as financial and housing counseling and in-home services for persons with disabilities to help keep individuals and families in their homes. 79 individuals were served through our In-Home Program, 80 in our residential homes and 505 were served in our financial and housing counseling program.
Catholic Charities Behavioral Health Services help individuals and families develop and enhance psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal and emotional adjustment, and independent living and community skills. The Behavioral Health Clinic is an outpatient counseling and behavioral health facility operating in St. Cloud. 547 people received support through individual, family and marriage counseling. 145 people received support through the Men's Domestic Abuse Intervention Program. 409 people with serious and persistent mental illness received support through Hope Community Support Program and 98 youth and their families were served by Catholic Charities Day Treatment Programs.
Catholic Charities Affordable and Transitional Housing works to find housing solutions for persons in need. 658 individuals had a safe place to call home through housing management services across eight rental sites. 54 women and children received transitional housing services. 1,101 youth who are homeless or at risk of homelessness received education, referrals, community resources, basic needs and supplies. 17 youth committed themselves to positive change while living at Youth House.
Catholic Charities Social Concerns supports parish social ministry within the 16 counties of the Diocese of St. Cloud and provides support and resources to farm families and rural communities. 456 individuals received ongoing support for Parish Social Ministry, 174 individuals received support from our immigrant and refugee community organizers and an additional 2,421 individuals were involved in presentations, meetings and retreats.
