Disclosure & global initiatives:cdp has 746 signatory investors in North America with at least usd $136 trillion in assets. Highlights for how North american investors used CDP data over the year include: bloomberg integrates CDP climate change, deforestation, and water security data, CDP scores data, and modelled emissions data into the bloomberg terminal; invesco indexing is using CDP climate data to create tradeable indices and investment products for clients; msci uses CDP data to build index products as well as providing other in-depth esg services to their clients; iss uses CDP data in environmental & social disclosure quality score, esg corporate rating and carbon and climate footprint data; s&p global is using CDP climate, water security and deforestation data to inform their research and service offerings to capital markets and corporations; and CDP has also established symbiotic partnership agreements with three environmental ngo's (share, iccr, emia), where CDP data is used to drive corporate engagements.
Partnerships and events:cdp partnerships focus on building a strong network of external stakeholders to drive real emissions reductions by supporting responding entities with data collection, sustainability strategy recommendations, and much more. CDP's partners range from accredited service providers to large companies that are integrating climate strategy into their core business. Cdp-na organizes annual events which serve as opportunities to convene experts and practitioners to discuss advances in sustainability practices. The events have been held at locations ranging from google's campus to columbia university.
Membership programs:our membership offerings including capital markets, CDP reporter services and CDP supply chain, provide enhanced support to accelerate members' climate action.cdp provides an unparalleled set of environmental data and award-winning insights to investor members to arm them with the information they need to protect their investments from risky climate change impacts. CDP reporter services includes 141 memberships, which benefit from strategic account management and enhanced data access that support improvement in the quality of their disclosure.through CDP supply chain, 121 North american companies, with over $1.6 trillion in purchasing power, collected data from more than 30,000 global suppliers in 2022 many of which would not otherwise disclose their environmental impact.
