Every day, the Children's Hospital League Corporation improves and enhances the lives of children dealing with the unimaginable stress of hospitalization. The League's funding has been critical in helping the boston Children's Hospital provide some of its most important programs, many of which are funded solely through philanthropy provided by the League. More than 500 strong, League members are ambassadors and fundraisers for boston Children's Hospital - one of the world's premier pediatric care and research centers. League members have a strong commitment to ensure children have access to high-quality pediatric health care. Over time, League support has broadened to include vital Hospital programs such as research and medical education.some of the recent programs funded by the League include the following: art therapy, laughter League clowns, center for young women's health, chaplaincy (harpist), community asthma program, entertainment carts, family day, inpatient car seat program, music therapy, pawprints pet visitation program, safety store, summer camp program, teen advisory committee, the foster grandparents program, technology for patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (als), the martha eliot health center and volunteer services and chear adaptive recreation equipment.covid-19:the covid-19 outbreak in the united states has caused business disruption through mandated and voluntary closings of organizations. During the years presented, the League held its fund raising events virtually due to the pandemic.
