Christian Care Nursing Center

The organization is a 68-bed skilled & long-term Care Center which provides 24-hour Nursing Care & specialized rehabilitation services to the elderly. The Center offers comfortable rooms, nutritious meals, social services including a campus chaplain & individualized activity programs giving residents a sense of purpose as they near the end of life. The Center is licensed by the state of Arizona and certified by medicare. The Center is an active participant in advancing excellence in america's Nursing homes, a coalition of consumers/health Care providers & Nursing home professionals. Founded in 1979, the Christian Care companies began with 96 units of subsidized housing and a 60-bed Nursing Center on (continued on sch. O) the phoenix campus. The organization is one of 24 related tax exempt Christian Care companies (the names of the other 23 are listed on schedule r) who provide housing, hospitality and healthcare services for very-low-to-middle income Arizona seniors. The Christian Care companies were founded by the nondenominational Christian churches of Arizona and are governed by corporate boards of directors. At december 31, 2022, the Christian Care companies own and operate 1,990 units of middle-income, market-rate independent, assisted, and memory Care units for seniors on six campuses, 338 units of subsidized housing, and a 68-bed health Center.
