Program areas at CBCF
The Foundation makes grants to nonprofit organizations to improve the quality of life in the Coastal Bend area of Texas from unrestricted, field-of-interest, designated, special project and donor advised funds.
On november 8, 2022 the Foundation had a one 24 hour period of online giving of donations called the "Coastal Bend day of giving", where donors matched the first 1.3 million collected for 54 nonprofits in the Coastal Bend service area. The total amount granted to the 54 nonprofits was 3,863,006 which provided assistance to over 254,166 Coastal Bend residents.
The Foundation provides scholarships and fellowships to students in accordance with the terms of the approximate 100 scholarship and fellowship funds.
