Community Bridges provides meals, transportation, nutritional subsidies and education, child care, individual/family/parenting/community services to elderly, ill, impoverished, disabled and/or low income individuals, families and children. Its mission is to offer family resources and education while providing WIC program evaluation for qualifying low-income families. Program areas at Community Bridges

The Child and Adult Care Food Program, using U.S. Department of Agriculture funding awarded by the CA State Department of Education, provided 1,624,424 meal subsidies to children and adults at more than 400 licensed day care centers in FY 21/22.
Meals on Wheels, using primarily US Department of Health and Human Services funding, awarded by the Area Agency on Aging of Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties, provided 376,462 home delivered and congregate meals to over 1,300 seniors in FY 21/22.
The Women, Infants & Children Supplemental Nutrition Program (WIC), using US Department of Agriculture funding awarded by the CA State Department of Public Health, evaluated and qualified 6,364 low income families, providing 76,170 food vouchers, as well as provided nutrition and breastfeeding classes in FY 21/22.
