Program areas at CHP

Community Housing Partners Corporation of Florida offers two forms of Housing opportunities to provide, create, and preserve low cost affordable Housing to Florida residents:rental housingcommunity land trustsee further descriptions on schedule orental housing:this program offers safe, sanitary and decent Housing for those who qualify for a rental within the hud guidelines. This program is for people who choose to rent or are not ready for the homeowner commitment. The client may also have credit or debt issues that preclude them from homeownership. Our competent staff of Housing counselors is available to work with the client whether it is to repair credit, reduce debt, or to help them establish a stable income. Chpc of Florida also offers an incentive to those who wish to transition from renter to homeowner. A percentage of total rent paid would be provided to the client to defray closing costs. This program is very important to first time homebuyers as the state Housing initiative partnership requires that the client have an equity investment in their home.community land trust:chpc of Florida offers income eligible families with credit challenges, a method of homeownership through the chpc of Florida Community land trust. Low and very low income families who desire to own their own home can participate in a shared equity program with chpc of Florida. This program provides the purchase financing for the client's home and provides incentives to the family to encourage savings and self-improvement.resyndication:in recent years, the organization has divested its portfolio of many of the multi-family properties it owned. This is done in an effort to provide the residents better future opportunities through resyndication.
