Program areas at Cooperatives for a Better World
We provided grants to 7 accelerator graduates through our Quantum Leap Fund program and grants to 3 graduates through fiscal sponsorship.
Cooperatives for a Better World ran a business accelerator with 9 cooperatives and 20 participants. In partnership with AARP foundation, we designed an outreach strategy, tailored resources, and curated learning opportunities focused oncooperative entrepreneurship and that directly address older adults' interests and priorities. After, we ran an 8-week incubator program with 24 participants designed to help entrepreneurs explore and develop their business ideas into the beginnings of abusiness. We developed a fiscal sponsorship program which is serving three cooperative graduates of our accelerator program. We continue to provide over 100 coaching hours to the graduates of our programs. We hosted a series of educational opportunities for people exploring coops. We completed over 100 hours of coaching and advising to pre-accelerator cooperatives.
