Deuel County Charities raises funds for cancer research and provides assistance to cancer victims. The New Hope Cancer Walk committee teams put in over 22,000 volunteer hours for their event, while Pink Ladies sponsored or assisted with 11 events to raise funds for cancer patients. Deuel County Charities also gave cash grants to 18 cancer patients in Deuel County to assist them with costs not covered by insurance, and the DC Crisis Fund provided grants to four families with serious medical issues.
