Child care and after school programs: The Y serves children 6 weeks through 5th grade. We are a licensed child care center that serves 225 children per day in child care and 80 children per day in afterschool programming.
All other programming and miscellaneous program service expenses. Expenses include depreciation expense for all programs.
Blue Hill YMCA - YMCA operations including Aquatics and Fitness Programs for the Blue Hill area.
Bucksport recreation department - In the spring of 2017, the YMCA entered into an agreement with the Town of Bucksport to develop, implement and enhance recreational programs for the Bucksport Community. This includes operation of the Towns swimming pool in the summer, the Towns ice skating rink in the winter, development and implementation of an afterschool program for elementary school kids and summer and vacation day camp programs. The Y also provides youth with year-round recreational and youth activities such as dances, field trips, sports teams and various other activities.
Moore Community Center: Located in Ellsworth Maine providing space for community conference center, community senior center, and the YMCA early learning center.
Day Camp: Located at the Ys camp in Eastbrook, we serve 130 daily for a 10 week period. Camp activities include all aspects of camp: boating, archery, BB gun safety, arts & crafts, swimming, etc.
Aquatics Program: The Y offers swim classes for children and adults aged 6 months through the golden years. The Y also provides aqua fitness programs for adults. A youth swim team, master swim team (adults), and life guarding classes. The Y also provides community-based water safety programs to schools and communities. Serves approximately 600 people.
Youth sports & youth services: The Y sports program is the sports program for the city. We provide softball, basketball, soccer and sports camps during the summer months. We serve approximately 1,600 per year.
Adult Fitness: The Y offers free fitness classes to all members along with personal training, yoga, Pilates and other specialized fitness programs such as cardiac/pulmonary rehab and spinning. The Y also has a full fitness center with cardio equipment and weight equipment. We serve approximately 6,400 members.Membership revenues for Ellsworth location are included with adult fitness revenues.
