Organize and sponsor the juco world series championship tournament (junior college world series). The majority of revenues are from tournament related activities and are used to pay for the tournament, cover costs of the teams, and help maintain the stadium.
Scholarship awards to local high school athletes attending college. Award winners are chosen by the high schools and scholarship funds are paid directly to institutions attended by the award winners.
Contribution to the city of Grand Junction bond for stadium improvements. Contribution to the local city parks improvement advisory board (piab). This non-profit organization encourages projects demonstrating efficient cooperative development and improvement of the city, county, and school open space. Awards to local high school programs and other local organizations.
