Program areas at HealthTree Foundation

The Foundation provides a robust set of educational and support programs to help patients become their own best advocate and optimize their outcomes. These programs include disease news websites webinars with experts a podcast focused on clinical trials live roundtable meetings with disease experts an extensive online disease "university" taught by experts a specialist directory a journal feature and live support with knowledgeable patient navigators.
The Foundation developed a revolutionary data portal called Healthtree cure hub. In the tool patients can track their disease find personalized treatment options use a clinical trial finder to find personally relevant clinical trials they are eligible to join find thier genetic twins and find crowdsourced side effect solutions. In our goal to help discover cures Healthtree cure hub is a real-world evidence data portal with the most comprehensive anonymized patient data in the world. The platform enables surveys and studies to be performed in partnership with expert researchers saving time and money for research to be facilitated. With this unique and robust data researchers can mine the data for key insights use it to develop new hypotheses and to administer studies with national participation. The Foundation earns patients' trust to provide this extraordinary tool. Finally patients have the tools they need to navigate their care and contribute to cures.
There is a power in connection. The Foundation connects patients with experts and to one another to provide additional learning and emotional support. This includes our coach program connecting patients one-on-one with mentors our reach initiative that builds regional branches for greater community outreach and support for underserved populations such as the black spanish-speaking and rural patients and caregivers. Important to patient health is the need to keep fit despite a cancer diagnosis. The Healthtree moves app promotes group fitness challenges and invites patients to connect with one another while they keep moving. The Foundation also facilitates conversations with our own social media platform Healthtree connect.
