Henry County Health Center, Inc., has entered into a hospital lease agreement where it will lease all of the facilities and operations, except the ambulance service, of Henry County soldiers and sailors memorial hospital, a County hospital organized under Iowa code chapter 347. Henry County Health Center, Inc. will manage and operate Health care organizations. This will include operating the 74 bed critical access hospital that features 25 acute care beds along with a 49 bed long-term care facility, park place. Henry County Health Center, Inc. will also manage and operate a clinical/group practice located on the grounds of the hospital and four rural Health clinics in the surrounding rural communities and provide community Health education for the community.
