Program areas at Hoosic River Watershed Association
Through research, education, and advocacy the organization strives to restore and improve the habitat of rivers in the Watershed for fish and wildlife by 1) partnering with state and federal agencies and other non-profits, 2) supporting the Hoosic River revival coalition, 3) annual River monitoring, and 4) supporting research on climate change within the Watershed. The organization also provides recreational opportunities and River access as well as educates River users, residents, and visitors to ensure a clean Hoosic river.in addition, we maintain and improve a linear park trail for the community to enjoy.
