Other Ministry Outreach - HOPE FOR THE HEART partners with local churches and various ministries to provide biblically based training and materials to best equip pastors, counselors, chaplains, teachers, and caring people who want to help others on how to provide "God's Truth for Today's Problems." We are engaged with women's ministries, prison ministries, and many other people groups who may require specialized programs.
Counseling, Prayer & Training -HOPE FOR THE HEART's Counseling Services (also known as HOPEworks) provides on-site, face-to-face counseling, building a bridge of hope to those struggling with life's toughest issues. Our professionally trained counselors are committed to proving biblical hope and practical help that leads to changed minds, changed hearts, and changed lives. The HOPEworks team serves a variety of clients including children, single parents, first responders, military personnel, and ministry leaders. HOPE's Care Center receives incoming calls dealing with a variety of life issues such as felt-needs, crisis/suicide, triage calls from other ministries, as well as calls from those ordering resource materials and offering donations to support the ministry. In 2018, the 18-hour per day, five days a week operation received over 27,000 calls.Our Biblical Counseling Institute (BCI) provides in-depth training on God's Truth for Today's Problems to pastors, counselors, chaplains, teachers, and other caring people. Each conference is based on one of our biblical counseling topics. The multimedia training format incorporates radio clips of HOPE IN THE NIGHT callers and offers insightful and compassionate answers to difficult, real-life questions. The BCI is approved by the State of Texas to provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Social Workers (LBSW, LBSW-IPR, LMSW, LMSW-AP, LMSW-IPR, LCSW), and Licensed Family and Marriage Therapists. Christian schoolteachers can also earn CEU credit.
Broadcast - HOPE FOR THE HEART presents biblical solutions to real-life issues by using a counseling approach based on the ministry's 100+ Biblical Counseling Keys. The ministry produces two daily radio programs: HOPE FOR THE HEART, a 25-minute teaching program that airs nationally on 64 radio stations and is broadcast internationally in various versions; HOPE IN THE NIGHT, a live 1-hour call-in counseling program that airs on more than 148 stations. HOPE IN THE NIGHT provides direct interaction with listeners facing life's challenges, which include: depression, domestic violence, self-esteem issues, as well as forgiveness and many others. Both programs are archived and made available on demand via the internet.
International Outreach- The International Department exists to take HOPE FOR THE HEART resources with the message of hope found in Christ to the uttermost parts of the world. Through in-person and on-line training, we equip people and establish partnerships in other nations to share biblical truth that leads to healthier, restored living. Many HOPE resources have been translated into 30 languages for ministry on 6 continents with various formats including print, audio & video.
Other ministry outreach - training and certification programshope for the Heart partners with local churches and various ministries to provide biblically based training and materials to best equip pastors, counselors, chaplains, teachers, and caring people who want to help others on how to provide god's truth for today's problems. A major focus area has been the launching a new lay caregiving training program in 2020. Additionally, the ministry has been developing a network and certification program geared toward christian coaching. A new website will launch in 2021 to engage with participants who want to become christian coaches to help share Hope with a world that has experienced pain and suffering with pandemics, natural disasters, and the normal stresses of everyday life.
