Houston in Action Network

Houston in Action Network (HiA Network) issued grants of approximately $2.5M in support of collaborative efforts including: nonpartisan voter education and engagement; organizing toward a local shared and strategic vision to promote community leadership and break down systemic barriers to civic participation; facilitation of community-based organizations to establish and sustain a response to COVID-19; educating the public on community representation; and co-designing and implementing a community-centered approach within the juvenile justice space in the Greater Houston Area. Supported emerging organizations in their capacity-building and development through administrative, communications, data and other needs identified by the organizations.
