Program areas at Inspire Action for Social Change
Under cooperative agreements, 15jovw-21-gk-02241-mumu and 15jovw-22-gk-4030-mumu Inspire Action for Social Change provided specialized training and technical assistance focused on enhancing and expanding the supervised visitation and safe exchange capacity of justice - office on violence against women grantees and subgrantees providing or developing supervised visitation and safe exchange services for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, child sexual abuse, and dating violence.
Under a subrecipient agreement with the national council of juvenile and family court judges, Inspire Action for Social Change engaged in a project focusing on developing resources to support self-represented survivors of intimate partner violence in court on custody and visitation specific remedies and a project to plan and conduct listening sessions with small ovw-funded training and technical assistance providers to gather information, recommendations, and strategies to assist in developing and implementing tta for other similarly situated organizations.
Under cooperative agreement 2020-ta-ax-k011 Inspire Action for Social Change provided training and support to department of justice - office on violence against women grantees and subgrantees providing supervised visitation and safe exchange services working to enhance safety, resilience, and well-being of infants, children, and youth exposed to violence.
All other programs provided training & technical assistance and enhanced the safety of survivors of intimate partner abuse & their children.
