Program areas at Institute for Clergy Excellence
The organization has one program which is to foster excellence in pastoral leadership through peer group learning experiences that provide collegial support, spiritual nurture, and ongoing renewal in ministry.
2012 Lily Grant - The Institute for Clergy Excellence seeks to take sustaining pastoral excellence concepts to the next level by teaching institutions the method that it has developed. This is a pilot program to test whether the core process of enabling individuals in peer groups to claim their own agency can be expanded to an institutional level by teaching the core concepts to seminaries, judicatories, and independent providers of continuing education. The Institute for Clergy Excellence will teach institutions how to claim agency in their own contexts through advocacy, coaching, and evaluation.
